Quizzically quoz-y: Today I ate what was probably the best strawberry I've ever tasted. The strawberry went through that long, complex process of growing and I gobbled it up in less than five seconds. If natural disasters had feelings (they could!) I wonder if they'd ever feel bad for the people/animals they gobbled up or if they'd just consume them without a second thought- like strawberries.
Also: Someday, I will be standing under this specific patch of sky when this is happening.
Poor strawberry! I ate a dozen today and certainly didn't think about it. Nor did I think about the worker that picked it and and packaged it for a meager wage. We should not take our strawberries for gratite. My tastebuds would certainly be sad without them.
